DEEPLY ROOTED:  Resiliency in Nature
with Seasonal Cycles    2025-2026

Reconnect and remember your true nature.
Attune to the turning of nature's wheel at this critical time of earth change.
Gather up traditional wisdom of the elements, energetics and deeper earth cycles.

Along with each cyclical celestial and earth shift there are prevailing elements with correlating energies that humans would be wise to align with.  Within a variety of cross cultural cosmologies and medicine frameworks this way of being has been common, but in western societies many of these practices have been lost.   This accounts for imbalances, disharmony patterns and the current crisis we are in.

Within this series of seven seasonal sessions, I'll be weaving traditional wisdom with ways to integrate alignment into your present life.  In doing so, you'll
improve your state of balance, health and happiness.  On a collective level, such practices will truly help humanity heal, not to mention living lightly on this precious planet that is at risk right now.

I truly feel called to teach and facilitate this course right now!
It is more than a natural medicine course; it is a way of living and being that is more aligned with the earth and nature.  It is the philosophy and practice of biophilia.  This special series is based upon a lifetime of my studies, teachings and journeys...all that has been recorded in a series of journals I've been keeping for several decades as part of an earth cycles and shifts book...       ~Gigi Risberg Stafne

What will you engage in throughout this course?  You will...

  • Intentionally understand the significance of re-aligning with earth at this time for humanity
  • Explore the elements and energetics of each season in-depth
  • Understand how to prepare for each transition in a deep, meaningful manner rather than working from a position or place of reactivity or resistance
  • Assess vulnerable systems and imbalances in the human body that are common each season--then integrate into personal life or clinical practice
  • Align with each element with natural lifestyle changes, from work to play
  • Explore fun activities, experiences and enhancement activities for each arriving season
  • Learn about significant seasonal traditions and celebrations.
  • Understand the moons to times of day that are relevant seasonally.
  • Explore tastes, foods, herbs, essences, colors, sounds most aligned with each seasonal shift
  • Experiment with recipes, botanical formulations and applications for personal health and wellness relevant to each season
  • Write and practice a personal mantra, meditation or prayer for each transition
  • Create sacred space for yourself seasonally
  • Engage in deeper personal practices with the help of your facilitator/instructor and guided exercises

Ultimately you'll engage in a renewed personal vision, now into the future, as well as refine what this may look like for the collective whole of humanity during a time of radical earth changes.

Who may enroll?

Anyone!  There is no need to have experience or previous courses in natural or botanical medicine.

May I take one or all of these sessions?

It would be more meaningful to you if you could take all of them.  Sometimes this may not be possible though, so register for those you can enjoy.

Where will we meet?

During warmer seasons if it is safe to do so, we'll meet in person in NW Wisconsin for this experience (continue to scroll down).
All the other sessions will be held online with emailed materials to support your seasonal shifts and experiences at home.

What is the tuition?

Discount for registration in the entire series:  $500  (or $95 per seminar)

Balsamic Moon & Boundary Medicines
Herbs and Energy Practices for the Balsamic Moon
TBA 2024-2025

The Balsamic Moon is the dark phase of the moon, historically feared and misunderstood.  However, the several days during this time period of the lunar cycle are times of rest, meditation, homeostasis, and balance.  It is truly one of the better times to finalize or complete resolution to any conflicts in your life.  Time to remove obstacles and break through barriers.  The Balsamic Moon phase will be described in details along with suggested solo practices.
Herbs and energy work have long been a part of cross cultural traditions to safeguard people, places, and sacred spaces.  Some methods may now seem archaic, but in contemporary society there's a growing need for boundaries and protections from certain elements such as environmental hazards, toxic emotions, chaos, crisis, and conflict.
Learn about boundary medicines especially for the Balsamic Moon and create your own herbal preparation to take home.

Your instructor is Gigi Stafne who is an experienced practitioner in realms of plant spirit medicine and nordic shamanism pathways

Introduction to IRIDOLOGY

The eyes are the mirrors to the soul.

That ancient saying is accurate.

Iridology is a natural medicine modality and technique that identifies patterns, colorations, markings and other characteristics of the iris that can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic constitution, health and dis-ease patterns.

In this course you'll learn about the basic Iridology constitutional types, how to 'map' and read the body systems, then acquire beginner skills to learn how to identify markings that indicate health and disease in the human body.

Gigi Stafne is a Master Iridologist who studied in Boulder, Colorado (cert: 1995) with Dr. Farida Sharan who is an international educator, clinician and writer.   Gigi is internationally recognized in North America with international certification and in the United Kingdom.

grace & grit

This is a unique get together for women 50+ who want to focus on optimal living during changing, challenging times.  Grace and Grit is a safe space for women who share an interest in deepening their wisdom during these wild personal and collective times.  Rather than succumb to invisibility, ill health or apathy, we will focus on being inspired!   You've heard Gigi say that most herbalism, health and wellness classes in the United States focus on the younger years, halting just after the developmental phase of menopausal years.  Then what?  What about the next 10, 20, 30 years of women's lives?  Similarly, the health and wellness industry often focuses on "anti-aging" products rather than supporting and sustaining optimal health in our wisdom years.   Let's get creative and excited again!  Gather new information and engage in a personal reset for life with us in this workshop.

  Topics you'll learn more about:

Herbs for grace and grit to help women age well
Brain boosting foods and herbs (Nootropics)
Inflammation, joint flexibility supplements and supports
Sexual health as we age
and breakout brainstorming discussions on
Stressful challenges and ways to cope with current issues related to your family, relationships, finances, caregiving, health and other issues important to you.
